Equine massage aims to support the horse’s physical comfort, movement and overall wellbeing, helping them function more freely in both body and mind. When used regularly, massage can be a valuable part of a preventative care program. Healthy, relaxed muscle tissue is generally better able to cope with workload and daily demands, and may be less prone to tightness and restriction. We use manual, hands-on techniques including Equine Sports Massage and Stress Point Therapy to address areas of tension and restriction within the body. By working through muscular tightness and adhesions, massage may help restore more natural movement patterns and reduce compensatory strain through connected muscle groups and soft tissue chains. Massage can also be beneficial as part of after-care support, helping the horse regain comfort and ease of movement as tissues recover and return to normal function. The overall goal is to support healthier, more balanced muscle function, improved suppleness, and greater ease of movement.
Learn MoreLow Level Laser Therapy (LLLT), also known as Photonic Therapy, is a non-invasive light therapy used to support tissue health and recovery. Photonic light therapy works by delivering targeted light wavelengths to help reduce pain and swelling, while supporting the body’s natural repair and regeneration processes. We use the Theralux® Touch 904nm 3R professional performance laser as part of our treatment approach to support muscle care, comfort and recovery. This therapy can be used alongside equine massage techniques to help improve overall treatment outcomes and assist the body’s natural healing processes.
